Taking Shape brings together works from over 20 Australian artists and designers. Presented by WRAP and Est., the exhibition reflects on circularity and contemporary design as an active part of daily life, something to inhabit, encounter, and negotiate.
Across furniture, small objects, textiles, art, lighting, and spatial intervention, the exhibition highlights how Australian practitioners are reshaping the relationship between utility, aesthetics, and social responsibility. Taking Shape features artists working across both traditional and unconventional design languages and rethinking the lifecycle of form.
Repurposed materials and sustainable making processes sit alongside refined craft techniques and architectural fabrication. Circularity and sustainability recur, as a methodology of practice that evolves design languages that endure.
